I think Rachel and I are at the point where we are going to sponsor a child from Uganda. We've got friends who have adopted children from there and I've been following Anne Jackson's blog this week too.
I never knew if it would actually make a difference but after reading her blog I'm convinced that it does.
I have been following Carlos Whittaker at ragamuffinsoul.com and have read other blogs as well from the trip...I am amazed as well at the difference $32 can make...sponsored Dji from Haiti...I look forward to developing a relationship and seeing him grow and mature into a full devoted follower of Christ...hopefully Susie will choose a Ugandan child this evening...the other day there were over 400 Ugandan children waiting to be sponsored...just now that number is 167, now 166 as someone chose another, sweet! within like 3minutes now 165...how cool it would be for that number to become 0!...changed lives!...
